I’m very happy with my Flextail Zero Mattress. It is by far the most confutable sleeping pad I have used. It is also the warmest with its 5.6 R value it was very warm on my last winter camp My only down point is the stuff, the material it is made from is quit thin and feels fragile. It’s also a bit of a struggle to get in back in the bag. However this is a small point on an altogether great pad.
I have already recommended this pad to a few people.
Granted I have only been out twice since receiving the sleeping pad, both times have been amazing. I used to just use a foam pad to sleep on and the flextail sleeping pad is leaps and bounds ahead of that. I would highly recommend it, especially for the price. It was wide enough that I could move around and warm enough that I didn’t wake up in even 30 degree Fahrenheit weather once. It fit perfectly in a 1 person tent. It packed well in an 45L backpack. All around, it was a great purchase.
Nice to sleep on but somewhat difficult to deflate. Great value.
Small and super light. Not taken it out yet but tested it at home and really pleased with it. Great depth and feels robust. The zero pump does a good job. Took me a little while to realise the battery is rechargeable.
Really enjoyed the Zero mattress. I went on a 5 day portage trip up on the St Regis Wilderness in nys. & it worked perfectly every night. I advise you to buy the zero pump since there is no pump sack with the mattress. Both items work great. 👍🏽
