It gets warm enough to work and feels like a solid piece of workmanship

I am sick of using thermacell as the butance cartridges and refills are expensive. I purchased this as well as the small repel and I used my thermal camera to check their temperatures - they do get very hot but won't burn you. I did this because some youtubers mentioned it doesn't get hot enough. I can confirm that they do indeed get up to temperature that is advertised. Although I haven't used it camping yet, I'm going to give them a 5/5 for a very well made product.

Must have for hunting East Texas

Got this to replace a competitor’s bigger and bulkier product. The max repeller fits in my bino harness no problem. I’ve got my hunting gear as minimal as possible and no longer need to carry a backpack for day hunts, thanks in part to the max repeller. Bonus that it pulls double duty as backup battery to charge headlamp, phone, etc.

Product works perfectly.

This little device actually surprised me! It is easy to use it really does keep the mosquitoes away! I live in the Adirondack Mountains, we also have something called “black-flies” in early summer. When they bite you know it! This little machine even keeps them away. No nasty spray coming out either! It just quietly does it’s thing :-) Great value for the money.

Great Piece of Kit

Purchased the Max Repeller s with the cover to use when I go out to Greece, only used once so far and nothing came near me ( that wanted to bite me anyway) IT does get warm but usually attach it to my bag when out and about or leave on a table at the house

Simple, does what it's supposed to do.

It's working and gives you more security when traveling

I bought this repeller because of a journey to India and Nepal during monsoon. I just came back and have to say that it works. Though you should always use 2 pads and put it on high power. In India it was a great gadget to get rid of mosquitos. There were definitely way less of them near us. I bought it as I couldn't bring my gas powered Thermacell with me. The possibility to power it by battery is a game changer when doing long distance travel. Highly recommended!

Smaller than a Thermacell and without flammable fossil fuels - The best part of this repeller is that you can bring it with you on the plane and you don't need to buy fuel at your destination! This is practically EDC every season except winter.
