Great product had my air mat ready in less than 1 min and the light is bright and conpact so you dont bang your head.I think you should add a light on the button so you can see it in a dark tent to turn on the light on my trip i was miss clicking the pump insted of the light. I am only 14 so this might just be me with this problem but somthing to consider. Ps feel free to send me some stuff to try this is my email [****] thanks for your time
I bought the Tiny Pump X3 on the recommendation of a friend. It seems to be a great little (and lightweight) piece of kit. Does everything I need from it.
Won't deny that I'm a little disappointed is that the kit doesn't come with a small carry pouch to keep the pump and the attachments all together in. Even more so, when you see the other pumps have a pouch.
This review is based on a handful of uses:
Well-built, solid design.
I have used it for sleeping pads, air mattress, and a packraft. Works excellent for inflation and deflation.
For packrafting, where weight matters and inflate/deflate are equally important, this is the perfect product.
My 10-year-old had no problem inflating his raft and getting after it! 😊
Thanks Flextail!
Probably my new favorite backpacking headlamp. Cool design has a rechargeable battery that can be charged on board or replaced easily. This is great so if your out in the woods and the battery dies you can carry an extra 123A battery.
I just used it March 2016 on a multi-day backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon USA. I put it through the paces. I brought 1 extra battery and a powerbank. Never had to use either on 7 day trip. I returned home and still had 2 bars left on the battery.😁 Now, I did use it mainly on medium to low in white mode for earlier than normal morning hikes, and for several hours at night in Red mode.
Great light color too. No ugly blue hue. I would call the light neutral white. Red is red😉
Many intensity levels as well. All usable, I really like the lowest or firefly setting. When in pitch black you really don't need much light to get in a tent or hammock. Too much light ruins night vision and attracts more bugs.
Pretty ultralight at about 2.2 oz.
Being an avid backpacker and outdoor person I give it a major thumbs up. My friend had the Nightcore. Nice little light, but the battery is not removable 😬. I liked my Flextail better😉
I am giving this a five star because so far it seems awesome. I may revisit if the battery becomes an issue. See concern below🤔
I have aired up my gravel tires to 60 psi and the average time it takes is 45-60 seconds depending on user error😔. I did not have it pressed on tight enough and it cost some time.
The pump itself weighs very little and is easy to use. The pump has some sort of heat dissipation element that works fantastic, I am able to hold it while it inflates and directly after. I have two other brand mini pumps that this would be impossible to do, they get wicked hot.
The light is very bright on all the options, I prefer the circling red. The clamping device for the seat post is very secure and the Pump/Light can be taken off WITHOUT removal of the mount. It uses a small style Garmin mount that clicks securely. (NOT GARMIN BUT SMALLER SIMILAR MOUNT) The device comes with everything you need for mounting & inflation of many options.
Now to my concern. When airing up my tires the pump dropped down to half battery which is not concerning by itself. I am concerned that if I use it as a light for a long duration the pump would not have enough power. I can only validate this through testing and will revisit the review if this becomes an issue. My direct knowledge of LED lights is that they use minimal energy and this should not be an issue but I wanted to mention my concern.
This is a great value for a dual purpose tool. The light is awesome and the pump is awesome so you are getting quality in both. This is my second FlexTailGear® product and they have not failed me yet with quality. Their headlamp is quality and well thought out, I have no reason to believe differently about this item.

Received from Amazon.
So far great little powerbank. If that changes I will revisit the review and change it.
I am very stoked about this ultralight little 10000mAh powerbank. I do quite a bit of excursions and it will come in handy. The one I currently use is about 2.5oz heavier and although that is not much, ounces add up😁. That little unit is also a bit chunky compared to the Flextail.
I own several Flextail products and I have been very impressed with manufacturing and quality of each product.
The weight claimed is a bit misleading because it does not include the lanyard that ingeniously doubles as a charging cable. It would be silly to leave home without that part so add a few grams to the base weight.😉
It utilizes fast charging with an option to reduce amperage output with a double click of the power button. This should save battery on the powerbank for extended trips.
The powerbank is very slim and compact which makes it perfect for backpacking adventures.
The price to quality ratio is very good with this coming in quite a bit less than the Nitecore® similar product. Both companies produce quality products and for a bit less this is worth the try.

I purchased this pad for a Grand Canyon hike that was supposed to be quite a bit cooler than it turned out. The smaller size and high R-value coupled with a built in inflator is what attracted me to the pad.
I was still able to use the pad, and although it is a small mummy style pad it was very comfortable. The inflator worked flawless and is a great combination to a well thought-out pad .
I had no problems with inflation/deflation or any issues leaving the pump in the socket while using the pad.
I am a smaller person at 5'9 and 170 lb. I don't think the standard would be a good fit for anybody larger. I typically sleep on my back and wrap my hands in a buff so my arms don't fall off my pad. I sometimes roll to my side and this pad was comfortable on my back or side with my hips never touching the ground.
I would love to see the same R-value pad in a wider 23-25 inch pad because I think it has a place in my gear.
Beyond keeping your body heat where you want it, I've become a big fan of the baffle style in this sleeping pad. I've got an old flex tail zero sleeping pad with an almost bubble wrap pattern for its air chambers. And the R09 is like comparing apples to oranges. While the internal air pump is impressive for it's tiny size, I would buy a version of this without the integrated air pump, as I've already got a Max pump 3 and a tiny pump 3. Further it does make it slightly more difficult to get all the air out of it roll it up tightly to Stow it away. All in all I love the pad and it will be going with me on every camping trip in the future.
Fits perfectly into my bikepacking and backpacking rig. Now I look forward to not blowing up my giant sleeping bad at the end of a long day. Weighs next to nothing and the light will run for over 11 hours on low. Best add to my gear this year!
It is really tiny comparing to my previous 600 gram portable shower. I love it ❤️
I was waiting only 9 days to recieve.
From all the experience I have had with flextail products, I knew this was going to be an awesome Mosquito Repellent. Surprisingly Flextail surprised me with this product, it was way beyond my expectations. It has a 360° protection for mosquitoes. Plus a very bright light with various lumens, and an option for an amber light. And of course like all other Flextail products, the battery life and power is exceptional. This will definitely be the only Mosquito Repellent you'll ever have to buy
We purchased this set of two travel vacuum seal bags with the included pump. And although we have previously purchased similar vacuum sealed bags from other companies, they all failed at some point. But when I saw that flextail had these for sale, i knew right away they would be good. I have had nothing but positive experiences with flextail products.
And as always Flextail did not disappoint. Both me and My Wife loved them so much that we are placing a second order.
From the pictures you can see the difference. The one on the left has not been vacuumed sealed, the one on the right reduced in size after of about 3/4 after being vacuum sealed.
These bags and pump are an absolute must buy
I'm helping get a new scouting group started in a small community, and we provided all the backpacking gear for the scouts. I can't tell you how many air mattresses I aired up with this device with one battery!! These are awesome!
Without any doubt yes you should get one. Lightweight so you barely feel it on your head. Batteries rechargeable in the torch or Independently via usb c.
Really bright and I love the lowest setting for around camp.
My only negative is It has more light modes than I need and to begin with it took a few attempts to find the modes I wanted.
THE FLEXTAIL ZERO POWERBANK YES IT CERTAINLY IS THE THINNEST & LIGHTEST 10,000 mAh POWERBANK GREAT BUILD QUALITY & LOOKS SUPERB THE ICING ON THE CAKE IS THE EMERGENCY POWER RESERVE FEATURE THATS WHY I BOUGHT IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE FOR BACKPACKERS & CAMPERS LIKE ME AN ABSOLUTE MUST IN YOUR RUCKSACK, FLEXTAIL KEEP UP THE GR8 WORK
Now I've had a good chance to test it I can say it's a great lightweight compact power bank, ideal for leaving in a pocket or throwing into my backpack for topping my phone up on overnight camps.
Thin enough that I could charge my phone while using a selfie stick. Very happy purchase once again.

Powerbanks are for travelling when you need an extra power and don't have the opportunity to use a socket. And this is why I like the lighter versions which IS the Zero Power:
- powerbank only: 141g
- USB-C cable only: 8g
- Full lanyard: 13g
- Powerbank with lanyard: 154g, just with the cable: 149g
Pros:
+ weight - UL category
+ design: solid and very good impression
+ structure: thin, easy to pack with the lanyard
Cons:
- slow charging (in and out)
I use this pump to air up my Anfibio Sigma Tx packraft. By the time I have the seats in place and the paddle assembled the packraft is fully inflated with this tiny, lightweight pump.
5 stars but I would very much like to find out where I could pick up spare parts for it. Accidents do happen.
Last night we had a plumbing issue where electricity went out it came in incredible handle. Issue solved and made easier by having it near to hand.
