The light is well made modern in design small in foot print for tight and open spaces able to use for vehicle repairs, BBQ table lighting, floodlighting localise area and great for repairs in roof spaces. Great choice of lighting modes and a colour tone change. Long lasting battery on first or second lumin level. Even highest setting lasts currently a long time.
Excellent design and hoping design and the build quality will prove robust overtime!

I saw so many people using this light in camp and was curious as to what the big deal was. I’ve seen others with the lights that turn camp into camping under street lights, and of course I’ve camped with no light at all and stumbled around tripping over guy lines and running into vehicle bumpers. This light changed everything. You can use it as a normal table light. Or as a spot light. But did you know you can also use it to illuminate your tarp so that your whole seating area is light enough to sit and have a conversation and see others reactions, se their facial expressions. If you think a little outside the box you can find all sorts of ways this light can work for you.

purchased this light for a little over a year, brought it to multiple car camping trips, and also used it for other purpose, love the 3-legs magnetic platform, stay firm on ground as well on any metal surface!

I got me this lamp because i just wanted it. It was a gamble if it would be any good. But i can say that i like it. Have used it in home for now at a low setting on the warm light and 1 dot of the 4 lasts 8 hours. The magnets work really well. I will probably use it when working in the winter. I am sure it will work fine in smaller places. It is bulky and a bit heavy. But for me it’s no problem at all. I do recommend this awesome lamp.

Bought for camping but have used it for work, around the house and general purpose and so far I've been impressed. Honestly haven't used it for camping yet so I can't speak to speed in charging an external device, but battery life seems superb and I like that it comes with lightweight titanium stakes to stabilize it in the ground. Also, I was surprised to see that it came with a reflective dyneema lanyard and several different colored replacement reflective stickers, of which one set glows like the original reflective stickers that come installed. Perhaps a little spendy compared to comparable lanterns, but its quality cannot be denied.
Can't wait for Flextail to offer a version of Outasks TD-2 in the future. 😁

Originally helpful for domestic and outdoor use

It's huge, it's expensive, it's massive but it's awesome if you need something similar. I use it as a work light while repairing machines, for car camping and as a table light when meeting friends outdoors and there's no easy way to hung normal flashlight above the table. Battery time is excellent - you can easy light it all night and there still something left. One downside is there's no moonlight mode: lowest setting is way to bright for me.
