A very good headlamp for hiking and basecamp use. However, two improvements should be considered:
1) The default startup mode should be the lowest brightness setting, not the highest.
2) The red light mode is far too bright — defeating its main purpose, which is to preserve night vision and avoid eye strain at night.
Tiny HELIO Is very good head Lamp. The light Is strong and efficienty. It have a good value for Money end have a eccelent product quality. The string to keep it on your head Is comfortable and easy to adjust. Excellent purchase.
A simple well made product. Bright & light.
Do wish you could set it to a red light, so it turns on red at night, (but knew it didn't when purchasing). Only reason it gets 4 not 5!

The Tiny Helio 600z is by far the best head lamp I've ever had. A1 +++
I love this headlamp. I actually lost the first one I bought and even though I have others, I purchased another one of these. I really like that you can choose flood or spot beam, it has red available, and that is interchangeable with the Zero pump battery. It's ultralight, too, that never hurts. I have a friend who has one and he hates the bright blue battery meter that's on in every mode, because he uses the red light when hunting and feels like the blue is a beacon on his forehead. It doesn't bother me, though. If I lose this light, I'll replace it again with the same one. I like it that much.
Oh, my one negative about this is that I purchased the light with extra battery. The light alone ships from within the US. The version with extra battery shipped from China and took much longer. Oh, there's also two battery capacities (350mAh and 450mAh, iirc) and I think both should be the higher version. That's my other negative, but it has nothing to do with the light itself.
I've bought a lot of flextail gear now. And it has to be said that they make the best camping accessories around. This light is very well made, strong, durable, and very light. Battery last ages even on full beam. I bought a spare 900mah battery but I've never had to swap battery's cos the other ones gone flat. I've always had enough battery for me to last my camping trips. Great headlamp. Good battery and powerfull
Such a big fan of this head torch. One of my biggest gripes with all my other torches is never knowing how charged they are and this is the best thing about this light. Can't believe no one else has done it. Don't get me wrong, the light output is fantastic, the removable battery with built in charging is a stroke of genius but I'm most happiest about the indicator. I do have one gripe though, and its that you can't go straight into red light mode which can ruin night-vision temporarily.
Easy to use and comfortable to wear, Ive not yet run out of power. So easy to charge with USB C.
Been using it out hunting at night to find quarry or reload my magasines, gives a great source of light thats super bright or turn it down.
My only criticism is the red light, cant turn it on without turning the white light on first, which in some circumstances is not helpfull. Maybe something that could be updated in a newer model, Id definitely buy it.
All in all though well worth the money, Ive spent as much on other products and not got a light half as good as this one
